Creating agents in our UnO Agentic AI Builderis a streamlined, no-code experience that allows users to design, configure, and deploy AI agents - without any programming expertise.

HCL UnO Agentic AI Builder provides multiple ways to create and manage agents, depending on your use case and workflow.

You can create agents in the following ways:

Create an agent from scratch

You can create agents from scratch using the Create Agent link, which is available in multiple locations across the application. Follow the step‑by‑step guide to create your first intelligent agent and integrate it into a workflow.

Edit an existing agent

Use this option to modify or enhance an agent that already exists.

  1. Open the agent using the Edit link on the AI Agents page.
  2. Update the agent configuration, parameters, or behavior as needed.
  3. Save your changes.

Create an agent using a template

Use templates to quickly create agents based on predefined configurations.

  1. Select a template from the Template Catalog.
  2. Customize the template according to your requirements.
  3. Save the agent to create a new instance based on the selected template.
