Exemple de connexion asynchrone iSeries, eServer i5 ou System i5 VT

L'exemple suivant est une configuration typique sur les appareils iSeries™, eServer™ i5 ou System i5™ pour une connexion numérotée asynchrone VT via un contrôleur de station de travail ASCII.   1. Entrez la commande suivante sur la ligne de commande du menu principal d'un appareil iSeries™, eServer™ i5 ou System i5™ : 
     CRTDEVDSP
    Le panneau Create Device Description s'affiche, dans un premier et un deuxième écran, comme indiqué pour la configuration d'un appareil VT100 dans les écrans suivants. Lorsque vous remplissez le panneau, assurez-vous que le nom du contrôleur connecté (affiché arbitrairement comme CTL05 ici) correspond au nom du contrôleur twinaxial configuré sur votre iSeries™, eServer™ i5 ou System i5™.

  2. Pour une configuration similaire pour un VT220 :
    Utilisez la même commande, CRTDEVDSP, sur la ligne de commande du menu principal iSeries™, eServer™ i5 ou System i5™. Encore une fois, le même genre de panneaux apparaît. Vous devez vous assurer que le nom du contrôleur connecté correspond au nom du contrôleur twinax configuré sur votre iSeries™, eServer™ i5 ou System i5™.
