Known Issues in HCL Z and I Emulator for Windows

This document provides the details about some of the known issues in HCL Z and I Emulator for Windows.

Problem

  • In the French Operating System for ZIEWin version 16.0, a local user cannot perform Start/Stop/Restart services.

Issue

  • After installing Z and I Emulator for Windows version 16.0, the ZIEWinService options (Start/Stop/Restart) are disabled for a local user account in the French Operating System.
Cause
  • The local user does not have access to the ZIEWinService.

Resolving the Problem

  • Not Applicable.

Workaround

  • Administrator user has permission to perform Start/Stop/Restart ZIEWinService.
