LE options required for non-CICS abends

If the CEEEXTAN LE abnormal termination exit (HFZXCEE) has been installed, then there are no specific LE options required for Z Abend Investigator to be invoked for an abend.

Note:
  • If the HFZXCEE exit is not installed, then abends in the LE-based 31-bit applications are only captured if the HFZXDCAP exit is installed, and the LE TERMTHDACT option with any of the UA* values (such as, UATRACE or UADUMP) is in effect.
  • If both the HFZXCEE and HFZXDCAP exits are installed, then Z Abend Investigator resolves the processing to perform only one analysis of a fault.
  • To invoke Z Abend Investigator for abends in LE-based 64-bit applications, the HFZXCE64 exit must be installed, regardless of LE options used or whether the HFZXDCAP exit is installed.
