HFZS subsystem requirements for deletion of migrated tightly-coupled associated dump data sets

Deletion of migrated tightly-coupled associated dump data sets is performed via a spawned BPX batch region. This is done to avoid potential performance issues.

The HFZS subsystem creates, and subsequently deletes, a "dummy" file in the path determined in the following order:

  1. Specified via the HFZJLIB DD statement (for details, see Specifying an HFZJLIB DD statement).
  2. The OMVS segment home path for the HFZS subsystem user ID (see OMVS home path).
  3. /tmp

If unsuccessful in using any of these paths, message HFZ0192I is issued.
