Adding and deleting operations
- I
- Inserts a blank row for a new operation
- R
- Copies existing operations to be added as new
- D
- Deletes operations.
When you generate a new row with the insert
or repeat row command,
the operation number is initially set to 000
. This
shows
that the operation is not yet defined, and that you must assign a
unique number to the operation. By default, the new operation is set
up as a successor to the operation preceding it in the list.
When an operation is repeated with the repeat row command, all information except the operation number is copied to the new operation.
When an operation is deleted, HCL Workload Automation for Z automatically connects all its predecessors with its successors to maintain the consistency of the network of operations. You cannot delete an operation whose deletion splits the operation network of the application occurrence into several operation networks. If you need to delete an operation that would do this, you must first change the dependencies in the application so that the network is not split.
