Configuration examples

This appendix provides you with examples of HCL Workload Automation for Z configuration. The examples are based on z/OS JES2, but they are also valid for z/OS JES3 systems, or a combination of JES2 and JES3 systems. Each example shows:

The controlling system, with the controller and the tracker started in separate address spaces
All HCL Workload Automation for Z address spaces as HCL Workload Automation for Z systems
A summary of actions that the workload restart function could take automatically
Sample initialization statements that you can use to create the configuration
The HCL Workload Automation for Z components that are required, the flow of automatic work submission, and event collection in various system combinations.
