You want to define a Local License Server (LLS) for Flexera because your master domain manager cannot connect to the Internet.

About this task
To use custom certificates for the LLS, perform the following steps:
Procedure
- On the workstation where you plan to install the master domain manager, create a folder for storing the certificates.
- Within this folder, create a subfolder named additionalCAs.
- Obtain the certificates from the Flexera administrator.
- Store the certificates for the LLS in the additionalCAs subfolder.
- Install the master domain manager as explained in Installing the master domain manager and backup master domain manager ensuring you use the --sslkeysfolder and --sslpassword parameters to specify the path to the certificates and the related password.

To use default certificates for the LLS, perform the following steps:
Procedure
- On the workstation where you plan to install the master domain manager, create a folder for storing the certificates.
- Within this folder, create a subfolder named additionalCAs.
- Obtain the certificates from the Flexera administrator.
- Store the certificates for the LLS in the additionalCAs subfolder.
- Ensure the depot is empty with the exception of the additionalCAs subfolder and of the files it contains.
- Install the master domain manager as explained in Installing the master domain manager and backup master domain manager ensuring you use the --sslkeysfolder parameter to specify the path to the certificates.
