To use custom certificates for the LLS, perform the following steps:

Procedure

  1. On the workstation where you plan to install the master domain manager, create a folder for storing the certificates.
  2. Within this folder, create a subfolder named additionalCAs.
  3. Obtain the certificates from the Flexera administrator.
  4. Store the certificates for the LLS in the additionalCAs subfolder.
  5. Install the master domain manager as explained in Installing the master domain manager and backup master domain manager ensuring you use the --sslkeysfolder and --sslpassword parameters to specify the path to the certificates and the related password.

  5. Ensure the depot is empty with the exception of the additionalCAs subfolder and of the files it contains.
  6. Install the master domain manager as explained in Installing the master domain manager and backup master domain manager ensuring you use the --sslkeysfolder parameter to specify the path to the certificates.
