Problem prevention with disk usage, process status, and mailbox usage
You can use event-driven workload automation (EDWA) to monitor the health of the HCL Workload Automation environment and to start a predefined set of actions when one or more specific events take place. You can prevent problems in the HCL Workload Automation environment by monitoring the filling percentage of the mailboxes, the status of HCL Workload Automation processes, and the disk usage of the HCL Workload Automation file system.
Full details of how to do this are described in the IBM® Workload Scheduler: Administration Guide, as follows:
- Monitoring the disk space used by HCL Workload Automation
- Monitoring the HCL Workload Automation message queues and Monitoring the HCL Workload Automation processes
