Detailed System Requirements for Dynamic Workload Console, Version 10.2.5

Supported operating systems for Dynamic Workload Console

Software requirements

Software requirements for WebSphere Application Server Liberty Base and Open Liberty

HCL Workload Automation supports both WebSphere Application Server Liberty Base and Open Liberty. The latest version of Open Liberty can be downloaded from Get start with Open Liberty.

If you already have WebSphere Application Server Liberty Base installed, you can use it with HCL Workload Automation, otherwise you can install Open Liberty, as described in Installing Open Liberty. WebSphere Application Server Liberty Base is no longer distributed from the HCL Software portal and needs to be obtained independently.

WebSphere Application Server Liberty Base adopts a continuous delivery model where new versions are deployed on a monthly basis. During the formal testing phase, HCL Workload Automation and the Dynamic Workload Console were tested using WebSphere Application Server Liberty Base and Open Liberty V25.0.0.6.

The minimum required version of WebSphere Application Server Liberty Base and Open Liberty to successfully install the product is V25.0.0.6.

The formal test phase of the Dynamic Workload Console installed in a z/OS environment was performed using WebSphere Application Server Liberty Base and Open Liberty 25.0.0.3. The minimum required version of WebSphere Application Server Liberty Base and Open Liberty for the Dynamic Workload Console installed in a z/OS environment is 25.0.0.3.

Supported browsers

The Dynamic Workload Console is supported on most browsers. See Product Requirements for the most up-to-date information about supported browsers and related versions.

If you are changing the settings related to the language in Mozilla Firefox, to ensure that the Dynamic Workload Console output is displayed correctly perform the following steps:
  1. Clean the cache.
  2. Close and open the browser again.

Memory and disk space requirements

To obtain the latest information about memory requirements, see Hardware Requirements.

The values indicated in the report show the disk space required by the Dynamic Workload Console alone. In addition to the disk space requirements indicated in the report, the installation requires further 579 MB on /usr file system. For the disk space required by other components, see the relevant documentation.
