How error codes are set for jobs on distributed agents

Error codes can be set automatically, based on the completion codes. Because HCL Workload Automation return codes, with a completion code of ABND, vary from -2147483647 to 2147483647 and HCL Workload Automation for Z return codes vary from –999 to 9999, return codes from the distributed environment that exceed four digits are truncated. For example, a return code of 123456785 becomes 1234 for HCL Workload Automation for Z.
