Limit for deadline feedback
The limit for deadline feedback is a value, 100 through 999, that establishes the limits within which measured values are regarded as normal and acceptable. A measured value outside the limits is ignored; that is, no smoothing factor is applied and the application description database is not updated.
The limits are calculated as follows:
Lower limit = ODL * 100/DLF
Upper limit = ODL * DLF/100
Where:
- ODL
- The old estimated deadline for the run cycle or operation, considered as offset in minutes from the IA currently stored in the application description database.
- ADL
- The actual deadline, considered as the elapsed minutes between the IA and the occurrence or operation completion time.
- DLF
- The limit for deadline feedback.
