Update Tool display

The Update Tool window looks like Windows Explorer with a title bar, a menu bar, a toolbar, a folder pane on the left, and a details pane on the right. On Linux, the folders are aligned vertically under the folder for the snapshot view. On the Windows system, the folders are aligned vertically under the view name.

The details pane shows the totals for various categories (for example, so many new files in the New folder); the date and time of day for the update; and the default settings for the update.

In this window, you can also perform HCL VersionVault operations on the elements that are listed on the right side of the display in the details pane by accessing the respective folders that are created on the left side of the display by the Update Tool.
