About the display area
The display area is called the event log, which shows the event records for the objects you specified. Each line in the event log represents an event record. The column headings in the event log are for fields (user configurable) in event records. By default, the event records are listed in order from most recent to oldest.
You can control the display and event record scan. The log is read-only, but you can select event records and copy their text to the clipboard for use in another application. Right-clicking in the event log opens a menu. The menu items vary depending on the object type of the event record that has context.
The Comment, Label, and Attributes fields are for text annotations that are truncated in the display for an individually selected event record.
Below the boxes for text annotations is a status bar that shows the following information:
- Current status of the browser or a brief description (hover help) of certain GUI objects on which you place the cursor
- The total number of event records that meet the current criteria for selection and display
- A percentage that indicates the ratio of event records scanned
to the total number of event records available according to the current criteria.
If the percentage is under 100, you can display more of the available event
records. To display more event records:
- On Linux and the UNIX system, click .
- On Windows systems, click FindNext N Events.
