Displaying the OID of a DO
The OID of a derived object is the permanent identifier recorded in the VOB database for the DO.
It does not change over the life of the DO, unlike the DO-ID (see Reuse of DO IDs). To display the OID, use the command describe -fmt "%On". For example:
