Project managers and integrators set up a configuration management environment for their development teams and keep it running. HCL VersionVault is a configuration management system designed to help development teams define components, establish and enforce development policies, establish work flows, test assembled components, and monitor progress. These and other management tasks are distinctly different from those tasks carried out by developers and administrators in the HCL VersionVault environment.

Project managers and integrators need to understand the base concepts of HCL VersionVault and be able to use either the command line or graphic user interface of HCL VersionVault.
