The UCM integration with HCL Compass
If your project uses the UCM integration with HCL Compass, your project manager has set up an HCL Compass user database to store information about the work that you do in UCM activities.

    If your project uses the UCM integration with HCL Compass, your project manager has set up an HCL Compass user database to store information about the work that you do in UCM activities.

    - Using the OSLC REST interface
      VersionVault UCM users can use Compass UCM integrations that use the Compass OSLC REST API. For information about the Compass OSLC REST API, refer to Compass documentation.
  - HCL VersionVault integrations with vendor products
    HCL VersionVault can be integrated with other vendor products.

To connect to a schema repository (Windows)

Procedure

On your Windows desktop, click Start > Programs > HCL > HCL Compass > HCL Compass Maintenance Tool.
In the Maintenance Tool window, do one of the following:
- If your Compass user database administrator created a database profile, click File > Import Profile. Under Import Profile Information in File Name, enter the path to the profile or click Help. Then click Next. Specify your connections and click Finish.
- If you have to specify your connection, click Connection > New. Under Schema Repository Properties in Vendor, select the database vendor for the repository. Enter the required information (each vendor is different). For more information, click Help. Then click Finish.
In the Maintenance Tool, click Exit.
