The UCM integration with HCL Compass
If your project uses the UCM integration with HCL Compass, your project manager has set up an HCL Compass user database to store information about the work that you do in UCM activities.

    If your project uses the UCM integration with HCL Compass, your project manager has set up an HCL Compass user database to store information about the work that you do in UCM activities.

    - Logging on to an HCL Compass user database
    - Using the OSLC REST interface
      VersionVault UCM users can use Compass UCM integrations that use the Compass OSLC REST API. For information about the Compass OSLC REST API, refer to Compass documentation.
  - HCL VersionVault integrations with vendor products
    HCL VersionVault can be integrated with other vendor products.

To determine whether your project is enabled for Compass

Procedure

Start Project Explorer using one of the following methods:
- At the command line, type the clearprojexp command.
- Alternatively, on Windows systems, in the HCL VersionVault Windows Explorer Shortcut pane, click Toolbox. Then click UCM > Project Explorer.
The Project Explorer opens.
In Project Explorer, navigate to and select your project. Then click File > Properties.
The project Properties window opens.
Click Compass.

Results

If Project is enabled for Compass (Windows system) is set, the project is using HCL Compass user databases with HCL VersionVault operations.
