To set the default for nonmastered checkouts (Windows)

About this task

You can set the default behavior of the Check Out window so that you always perform a nonmastered checkout if a reserved or unreserved checkout would fail.

Procedure

Perform one of the following actions:
- From HCL VersionVault Windows Explorer, click Tools > Options and, under VersionVault, click VersionVault Options.
- Click Start > Programs > HCL > HCL VersionVault > User Preferences.
In the VersionVault User Options window, click the Operations tab.
In the Check Out area, select Unreserved, nonmastered if branch is mastered by another replica (MultiSite only).
