Setting the Suppress errors option (Windows)
- Check In/Add to Source Control
- Check Out
- Undo Check Out
If Suppress Errors is set when you perform a batch operation, error messages regarding incorrect state type do not interrupt the operation's progress.
For example, you check out multiple files in a directory and you make changes to some, but not all, of these checked out files. You then attempt to perform a batch check in on all of the checked out files. If Suppress Errors is not set, error messages display for each unmodified file, and each time an error message displays, the batch operation is paused and you must clear the message to resume the operation. If Suppress errors is set, error messages do not display for the unmodified files, and the batch operation continues uninterrupted. In both cases, the unmodified files remain checked out when the batch check in operation completes.
If you are working in a project in which you are not allowed to change user options, you cannot change the Suppress errors option.
