Placing the electronic image on a shared directory

In this scenario, you place the electronic image on a shared directory or drive so that users in your enterprise can access the installation files for the product from a single location.

Procedure

To place the installation image on a shared directory or drive, perform the following steps:

Ensure that your shared directory or drive has sufficient disk space to store the extracted installation image.
Download all required parts for the product image to a temporary directory.
Extract the installation image from the downloaded files into an accessible directory on the shared directory or drive and verify that the installation image is complete.
