Changing the project name

The UCM integration links a project name to the name field in the corresponding HCL Compass project record. If you change the project name in the HCL VersionVault graphic user interface (GUI), the UCM integration makes the same change to the name field in the corresponding HCL Compass project record. Similarly, if you change the name in the HCL Compass user database, the integration makes the same change to the project name in the HCL VersionVault repository. Before you can change the project name in an HCL VersionVault MultiSite environment, the project record and the project object must both be mastered.
