Creating Suggestions

Create suggestions actually means requesting the AI-ML component to provide segment suggestions based on our inputs.

About this task

To request segment suggestions, complete the following steps:

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Marketing Central > Segment Central
    The All Segment page opens.
  2. Click Suggestions.
    The Segment suggestions page opens listing the recent request(s) and results.
  3. Click + Suggestions.
    The Suggest segments page opens.
  4. Select the required values for the following fields:
    • For the Select audience field, select the required audience level.
    • For the Select table field, select the required base table for extracting data.
    • For the Select columns field, select the required fields to make clusters. AI-ML generates audience segments using the selected columns or features ignoring the unselected columns. Use the search bar to locate the required columns. The selected columns appear in the Selected column(s) & filter(s) section.
      Note: Avoid using columns that have unique values in it as the suggestions will not be proper if you select column with unique values. Also, AI-ML component cannot establish a pattern using columns with unique values.
  5. Provide and Minimum value and a Maximum value for the segment size.
    Note: The AI-ML component will provide results that are equal to or more than the Minimum value but the results may be more Maximum value.
  6. To add additional filters for each selected column from Step 4, in the Selected column(s) & filter(s) section, select a column and perform the following steps:
    1. The Configure filter(s): <column-name> panel appears.
    2. Toggle the required condition to AND or OR.
    3. To add a filter, click Add.
    4. Select the relevant Field, Condition, and Value(s) to create a fiter.
    5. Click Add to add more filters. You can add up to three filters. Click X to remove a filter.
    6. Click Apply to save the filters.
    7. If required, add filters to the other selected columns by performing Step 6-a through 6-g.
  7. Click Show.
