System requirements and compatibility

Unica Plan operates as part of the Unica suite of products.

  • Unica Plan requires the latest Unica Platform version.
  • For reporting, Unica Plan uses the latest version of Unica Plan and the Unica Plan Campaign reports package.

Upgrading to 25.1.0.1

If you are already on version 25.1.0,
  • perform an in-place upgrade from 25.1.0 → to 25.1.0.1.
If you are on version 12.1.10,
  • Option 1 - In-place Upgrade: Perform the upgrade as mentioned in the following steps:
    • perform an in-place upgrade from 12.1.10 → to 25.1.0.
    • perform an in-place upgrade from 25.1.0 → to 25.1.0.1.
  • Option 2 - Fast Upgrade
    • Perform a Fast Upgrade from 12.1.10 to 25.1.0.1 (for more information, see HCL Unica 25.1.0 Fast Upgrade Guide).
If your existing version is between 12.1.0 to 12.1.9, you can upgrade as follows:
  • Option 1 - In-place Upgrade: Perform the upgrade as mentioned in the following steps:
    • perform an in-place upgrade (if the existing version is between 12.1.0 to 12.1.9) to version 12.1.10
    • perform an in-place upgrade from version 12.1.10 to version 25.1.0.
    • perform an in-place upgrade from version 25.1.0 to version 25.1.0.1.
  • Option 2 - Fast Upgrade
    • Perform a Fast Upgrade from your existing version (if the existing version is between 12.1.0 to 12.1.9) to 25.1.0.1 (for more information, see HCL Unica 25.1.0 Fast Upgrade Guide).
If you are on any version earlier than 12.1.0, you can upgrade as follows:
  • Option 1 - In-place Upgrade: Perform the upgrade as mentioned in the following steps:
    Note: Versions earlier than 10.1.x are not supported.
    • perform a Fast Upgrade from version 10.1.x / 11.x.x / 12.0.x.x to version 12.1.0 (for more information, see HCL Unica 12.1.0 Fast Upgrade Guide)
    • perform an in-place upgrade from version 12.1.0 to version 12.1.10
    • perform an in-place upgrade from version 12.1.10 to version 25.1.0
    • perform an in-place upgrade from version 25.1.0 to version 25.1.0.1
  • Option 2 - Fast Upgrade
    • Perform a Fast Upgrade from your existing version to 25.1.0.1 (for more information, see HCL Unica 25.1.0 Fast Upgrade Guide).
      Note: Existing version cannot be earlier than 10.1.x.

Upgrading to 25.1.0

If you are already on version 12.1.10,
  • perform an in-place upgrade from 12.1.10 → 25.1.0.
If your existing version is between 12.1.0 to 12.1.9, you can upgrade as follows:
  • Option 1 - In-place Upgrade: Perform the upgrade as mentioned in the following steps:
    • perform an in-place upgrade (if the existing version is between 12.1.0 to 12.1.9) to version 12.1.10
    • upgrade from version 12.1.10 to version 25.1.0.
  • Option 2 - Fast Upgrade
    • Perform a Fast Upgrade from your existing version (if the existing version is between 12.1.0 to 12.1.9) to 25.1.0 (for more information, see HCL Unica 25.1.0 Fast Upgrade Guide).
If your existing version is earlier than 12.1.0, you can upgrade as follows:
  • Option 1 - In-place Upgrade: Perform the upgrade as mentioned in the following steps:
