What's new in Verse on Android?

The following features are new in Verse 14.5.x for Android:

Rich Text Email Composition: HCL Verse for Android now supports rich text formatting when composing emails. A formatting toolbar appears above the keyboard when editing the message body, giving you a quick access to bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, text color, highlight color, font size, and hyperlinks. Rich text formatting is available in new messages, replies, and forwards.

New and Improved Today Widget: The HCL Verse Today widget is completely re-imagined. It features simplified navigation, and significantly improved stability. You can now add the widget to your Home screen using the standard method or directly from the navigation drawer of the Launcher app.

Support for OIDC with Passkey: HCL Verse for Android supports the Traveler server endpoint configured for OIDC authentication when running on Domino 14.5.1 or newer. For more information, see Mobile client support for OIDC authentication.

New and Improved Calendar and Todo Widgets: The HCL Verse Calendar and ToDo widgets are completely re-imagined. They feature a modern design, simplified navigation, and significantly improved stability. You can now pin the widgets to your Home screen using the standard method or directly from the application's navigation drawer.

Sync Online Meetings: Seamlessly access your online meetings across devices when connecting to HCL Traveler 14.5.1 servers. Your online meetings, default online meeting, and the ability to automatically add your online meeting defined in HCL Verse Web or HCL Notes now synchronize automatically to your mobile app. When creating or editing events, you can quickly select from your list of meetings or let Verse automatically add your default online meeting for you. Support for Printing Emails: HCL Verse for Android now includes the ability to print emails directly from the application. Users can print individual email messages or entire conversations, providing greater flexibility for managing and archiving important communications on the go. Simply select Print or Print All from the email or conversation overflow menu.
