Directory limitations

The following table describes directory limitations.

The IBM Address Book Provider requires IBM mail add-in version 2.0.1 or later and a new profile.
  • To verify the add-in version, from Microsoft Outlook click File > IBM Mail > IBM Mail Help > About. Note that if you have an older version and your are a cloud user, you are automatically prompted to download and install the latest version.
  • If you used an older version of the add-in previously, after version 2.0.1 is installed, you must create a new profile to use as the default profile. You need to re-create any custom layouts, favorite folders, and archive pointers.
For performance reasons, if a search term is fewer than three characters, the IBM Address Book Provider returns no results.
