Moderator options
This section focuses on the options specific to moderators and owners of meeting rooms. All functions available under the User Function are also available to Moderators and Owners with additional controls exclusive to these titles.
Participant View Controls
The participants feature allows users to view participants and perform group functions.
Individual Controls
This section provides information on how the user can individually control the participant's user control in a meeting.

Moderator options
This section focuses on the options specific to moderators and owners of meeting rooms. All functions available under the User Function are also available to Moderators and Owners with additional controls exclusive to these titles.
- Sharing a YouTube video
  A video can be played within a meeting directly from YouTube. The video is viewable by all participants.
- Starting a YouTube live stream session
  Meeting moderators can start a live stream on a YouTube channel. Live stream sessions are typically lecture-style and do not allow participant interaction.
- More Actions
  The More Actions tasks are additional tasks available to the moderator. These tasks are in addition to all user actions.
- Recording a meeting
  You can use the Start recording feature to record the meeting.
- Recordings management - FAQ's
  When the user records a meeting, they can access the link from the meeting room in the meeting client, group chat and one-on-one chat in the webchat client, and meeting recording link from the email.
- Ending the meeting
  The end the meeting feature allows users to hang up and leave the meeting.
- Participant View Controls
  The participants feature allows users to view participants and perform group functions.
  - Global User Controls
    This section provides information on how the user can globally control the participant's user control in a meeting.
  - Individual Controls
    This section provides information on how the user can individually control the participant's user control in a meeting.
  - Locking the meeting
    This section provides information on how the user can lock the meeting.
- Moderated Meeting management
  The Moderated meeting feature only allows moderators or other designated moderators to start the meeting.

Individual Controls

This section provides information on how the user can individually control the participant's user control in a meeting.

Description

The moderator will also have the option to individually:

Lower hand – once acknowledged the moderator can lower a hand in the room.
Make Presenter – used to give another participant presenter rights in a moderated meeting. This promotion ends when the current meeting has ended.
Make Moderator – used to promote a participant to moderator indefinitely. This option will only display for an authenticated participant. This promotion is maintained for this meeting room until revoked.
Mute – simply changes the participant to a mute status. Cannot be reversed by the moderator.
Disable the camera – turns off the participant’s camera. Cannot be reversed by the moderator.
Kick out the participant - Participant can re-enter unless the room is locked.

Note: Some features may be disabled by the System Administrator. These options are specific to the Sametime 11.5version and may change in future releases.
