Modifying Connection Manager configuration files
Use the oncmsm utility to load a modified
configuration file into a Connection Manager and change the Connection
Manager's configuration.
About this task
If you are using multiple Connection Managers, you can run
the onstat -g cmsm command to display the names
of Connection Manager instances.
Procedure
- Modify the existing Connection Manager configuration file.
The default location of the configuration file is the $ONEDB_HOME/etc directory.
- On the Connection Manager's host, run the oncmsm utility
with the r parameter and the name of the Connection
Manager instance.
For example:
oncmsm -r connection_manager_name
Because multiple instances of the Connection Manager can be
active at the same time, you must specify the name of the Connection
Manager instance.
Results
After you reload a Connection Manager's configuration file,
the new configuration immediately takes effect.
