DataBlade Module Management Functions
From sessions connected to HCL OneDB™ databases that support explicit transaction logging, you can register or unregister DataBlade® modules by issuing SQL statements that call the built-in SYSBldPrepare( ) function. Another built-in function, SYSBldRelease( ), returns the version string of the SYSBldPrepare( ) function in the local database.
Registration and unregistration of DataBlade modules through SQL function calls is an alternative to using the BladeManager utility. The BladeManager utility can perform various DataBlade module tasks that include registering, unregistering, and displaying information about DataBlade modules. This utility supports both a command-line interface and a graphical user interface. For more information about using the BladeManager utility, see your HCL OneDB DataBlade Module Installation and Registration Guide.
