DRDA Support Functions

HCL OneDB™ provides built-in functions that support the Distributed Relational Database Architecture™ (DRDA®) protocol when the HCL OneDB instance is configured as a DRDA application server. This is accomplished by setting DBSERVERALIASES to DRDA in the configuration file.

The sysibm.Metadata function provides database metadata information to .NET Core Provider Driver for JDBC and SQL client applications.
The sysibm.SCLCAMessage function supports DRDA error handling.

The Metadata and sqlcaMessage routines are created automatically if the database server is configured to support the DRDA protocol. The HCL OneDB implementation of these functions conforms to the DR Level 5 SQLAM 7 standard
