List character-mapping files
When you specify the -cm command-line option, the glfiles utility creates a file that lists the available character mapping (charmap) files.
For each cmZ subdirectory in $INFORMIXDIR/gls, glfiles creates a file in the current directory that is called cmZ.txt, where Z is the version number of the charmap object-file format. The cmZ.txt file lists the character mappings in alphabetical order, sorted on the name of the GLS object charmap file.

Examine the cmZ.txt file to determine the character mappings that the $INFORMIXDIR/gls/cmZ directory on your system supports.
