您的用户标识附带Notes ®多用途证书和Notes ®国际证书。它们在一段时间内有效，到期前需要更新。

如果证书在到期日之前未更新，则该证书将失效。如果您的Notes ®多用途证书在到期日之前未续订，您可以启动Notes ®但无法登录到任何Notes ®服务器。此时，您必须联系您的管理员。

续订证书时，您只是更改证书的到期日期。您的公钥和私钥保持不变。由于您的私钥不会更改，因此您的管理员可以在无需您干预的情况下续订您的证书。如果您的管理员没有自动续订证书，您会在证书即将过期时收到提示。

To find out when your Notes® certificates expire, choose File > Security > User Security (Macintosh OS X users: Notes > Security > User Security), click Security Basics, and refer to the "ID File expiration date" under "Who You Are." To find out when your Internet certificates expire, in User Security click Your Identity > Your Certificates, choose the types of certificates you want to view from the drop-down list, select a certificate, and refer to the "Expires" date below the certificate.

  1. Click File > Security > User Security (Macintosh OS X users: Notes > Security > User Security).

  6. The renewal process is complete when your administrator responds to your request. After your administrator has prepared updated certificates for you, you may either receive your new certificates by email (open the email, and choose Actions > Accept Certificate), or your User ID may automatically be updated with the new certificates the next time you login to Notes®. Once you have verified that you have the updated Notes® certificates installed on your User ID, make sure to update any copies of your User ID as well.
