How do I let attendees invite others?
A meeting chair can allow attendees to invite or propose other people to attend a meeting.
Procedure
When you schedule a meeting, select one of the following options in the Allow
attendees to invite others field:
Option | Description |
---|---|
Allow | Allows attendees to propose others to attend. You decide which proposed attendees, if any, to invite. |
Allow and auto-accept | Allows attendees to send invitations automatically to others without requiring your approval. |
Don't allow | Prevents attendees from proposing or inviting additional attendees. |
Results
- Workflow if you select Allow

- The attendee clicks the Invite Others button in the invitation, completes a dialog to select the attendees to add along with comments, and clicks OK to send you a notification.
- When you receive the notification, you click one of the following buttons: Invite All, Invite Some (to approve a subset), or Decline Request.
- The attendee receives a notification indicating your decision with comments if you provided them.
