Map Command Server
To use the Map Command Server to execute a map, you will prepare the maps for execution.
For installation information, see the release notes. Before using the Map Command Server after you have installed it, test your installation by running an example map. To see how to test your installation on a specific platform, see the platform-specific topic.
Environment variables may need to be set to execute the map command server. These variables can be set with a setup script which is appropriate for the installation platform. Additional information on special environment variables is given as necessary in other help sections.
On Windows, DTXcommon.bat can be executed before executing a map command server command line. DTXcommon.bat is in the primary Link installation directory.
$ cd <Link post-installation directory for native binaries, e.g., tomcat-context/install>
$ . ./setup
$ dtxcmdsv -?
