Inserting a new field into the format
About this task
To insert a new field into the format:
Procedure

Open the Fixed Format Definition window.
For more information, see Creating a fixed format.
- Click Insert in the Operation group.
- Select the field before which you want to insert the new field.
- Type the field specifications in the text boxes at the top of the window.
- Click Perform to insert the new field before the selected field.
- Click OK to save your changes and return to the Record Formats window.
- Click Cancel to return to the HPL main window.
