What's New in HCL CDP v26.1.0

In this release, we've introduced some new features and changes to some existing features or functionality.

The following list includes the new features and changes to existing features:

Prospect Activity Tracking and Identity Resolution

New integration protocols have been established to support prospect activity tracking.

Anonymous Activity Tracking: The system now captures behavioral data (page visits, clicks, downloads) through multiple sources and ingested into CDP via DIAPI for anonymous users.
Identity Resolution: Anonymous profiles are automatically merged with identified profiles once a user provides identifiable information, preserving their pre-authentication history.
Prospect Segmentation: Prospect segments can now be created in real-time based on behavioral and contextual attributes for immediate activation across marketing channels.
Temporary Profile Housekeeping: Optimize storage by cleaning up "New-To-Business" (NTB) profiles that remain idle and do not convert to a "Known-To-Business" (KTB) or "Existing-To-Business" (ETB) status.
Identity Graph: Enhances audit and governance by capturing the specific "transition event" when a profile moves between lifecycle stages (NTB, KTB, ETB). The system records the transition time-stamp and the trigger identifier for every lifecycle change, providing a transparent audit trail for compliance inquiries and enabling advanced analysis of the customer journey.

Customer Experience Enhancements
Customer One View (COV) Redesign: A comprehensive UX redesign of the Customer One View has been implemented to provide a more intuitive and detailed profile management experience. Refer to the Customer One View section in HCL CDP User Guide.
Segment Central Unification: Unified requirements from CDP have been integrated into the Segment Central module for a more cohesive segmentation experience. Refer to the Create a Segment and Publish Batch Segment sections in HCL CDP User Guide.
CDP and Unica Platform Alignment
Navigation Restructure: The Unica+ left navigation menu has been streamlined to align product sub-menus and improve access to "Centrals" (Offer, Segment, Audience, and Contact Centrals).
ADFS SAML 2.0 Support: Integrated SAML 2.0 via ADFS to provide secure, enterprise-grade authentication for CDP users in Unica Platform.
Data Pipeline & Deployment Optimization
Near Real-Time Event Batching: Implemented high-frequency batching for events to ensure near real-time data availability and processing.
Flink Migration: The data processing pipeline is transitioning from NiFi to Apache Flink to improve scalability and throughput for large-scale data operations. Refer to the Deploying CDP Flink Manager section in HCL CDP AWS Platform Installation Guide.
OpenShift RTS: Segmentation capabilities have been fully enabled and verified for OpenShift environments. Refer to the Deploying CDP RTS MS section in HCL CDP Openshift Platform Installation Guide.
Java 17 Platform Upgrade
HCL CDP has been upgraded to Java 17 and Spring Framework 6.x. This upgrade improves application performance, security, and long-term supportability by aligning with the latest LTS runtime and framework versions.
