You must license your HCLSoftware product to get access to a full-featured version of your HCLSoftware product for an extended duration and HCLSoftware support.

  You must check whether your system meets the hardware, software, and operating system requirements to install the HCL Local License Server (LLS) product.

  Before you install HCL Local License Server (LLS), you must perform some necessary tasks.

  After you finish the pre-installation task, you can begin the installation of HCL Local License Server (LLS). You can then manage the licenses of HCLSoftware products.

Uninstalling HCL Local License Server

When you no longer require HCL Local License Server (LLS), you run the uninstall program.

Procedure

Go to the installation directory where the uninstall program is located.

For Windows

Name: uninstall.bat

Location: <lls_install_directory>\uninstall.bat

For Linux

Name: uninstall.sh

Location: /opt/hcl-lls-5.2/uninstall.sh

Example: <lls_install_directory> refers to the directory that was specified during the LLS installation process.
From the command-line, run the uninstall program:
- On Windows, run the uninstall.bat file as an administrator.
- On Linux, enter the following commands with root privileges:

chmod +x uninstall.sh
```
```
./uninstall.sh
```
A system prompt is displayed to you to confirm the uninstallation.
Press Y to start the uninstallation process.
The uninstall program terminates the LLS process and deletes the installed directory.

Results

You have uninstalled LLS.

What to do next

After completing the uninstallation, you must ensure that the LLS services and all files in the installation directory are deleted.
