System requirements
You must check whether your system meets the hardware, software, and operating system requirements to install the HCL Local License Server (LLS) product.
Hardware requirements
You must ensure that the system where you want to host LLS meets the following hardware
requirements:
| Hardware | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Disk space | 500 MB |
| Memory | 8 GB |
| Processor | 2 GHz - 2 Cores |
Software requirements
If OpenSSL is not already installed, you can download and install OpenSSL 3.3.2 on your host
machine. You must set the PATH environment variable to include the installation path of
OpenSSL.
Note: OpenSSL is required for generating a self-signed TLS
certificate as part of the LLS
installation process. You can ignore OpenSSL requirement, if you plan to use a third-party TLS
certificate.
