Internet Site documents are used to configure Internet protocols on a Domino® server. An Internet Site document is created for each protocol and may contain configuration for a single server, or multiple servers in a Domino® organization.
The Internet Sites view is used to create Internet Site documents and to help manage Internet protocol configuration by listing all configured Internet Site documents for each organization in the domain.
The use of Internet Sites is mandatory if:
- Web-based Distributed Authoring and Versioning (WebDAV) will be used on a Web server.
- There is a need to use certificate revocation lists for TLS.
- The server has a service-provider configuration.
The server is configured to use Internet Site documents by enabling the option on the Server document.
Regardless of whether Internet Site documents are enabled, TCP/IP port number and status, TLS port number and status, and server access settings are still configured in the Server document.
