   1. From the Domino® Administrator, open the primary Domino® Directory of the server that runs the LDAP service:
   2. Select Actions > Edit Directory Profile.

   4. 保存并关闭此文档。
2. 在域“配置设置”文档中，启用 LDAP 备用语言搜索支持：
   1. From the Domino® Administrator, open the server that runs the LDAP service, or a open a server in the same domain as the one that runs the LDAP service.
   2. 单击配置选项卡。
   3. 在导航窗格中，展开目录，再展开 LDAP，然后选择设置。
   4. 请执行下列其中一项操作：

      If you see the message Unable to locate a Server Configuration document for this domain. Would you like to create one now? click Yes, then click the LDAP tab on the document.

      如果未看到此提示，请单击编辑 LDAP 设置。

   5. 在允许备用语言信息处理字段中，选择“是”。
   6. 保存并关闭此文档。

使用“备用语言信息”文档定义“个人”文档的语言子属性

要将特定语言的 LDAP 语言标记添加到“个人”文档（dominoPerson 条目）中，请创建与“个人”文档相关联的“备用语言信息”文档。“备用语言信息”文档包含“个人”文档中的一部分字段，可以使用备用语言为这些字段指定值。可以为一个“个人”文档创建多个“备用语言信息”文档。 You can create Alternate Language Information documents in any Domino® Directory that the LDAP service serves.

To add LDAP language tags for a specific language to a Domino® Person document:

1. From the Domino® Administrator, open the Domino® Directory that contains the Person document.
2. Click the People & Groups tab.
3. 选择个人并打开要向其中添加语言标记的“个人”文档。
4. Choose Actions > Add Alternate Language Information.
5. 单击基本选项卡，然后执行以下操作：
   1. 在语言
   2. 在基本选项卡中，使用所选语言为其他任意字段输入值。
      Note: The User name (FullName) field is inherited from the Person document.LDAP 将此用作标识个人的专有名称，不能创建此标识的备用语言版本。

7. 保存并关闭此文档。

要查看与“个人”文档关联的“备用语言信息”文档，请执行以下操作：

1. From the Domino® Administrator, click the Files tab, and open the Domino® Directory.
2. 展开个人视图，选择备用语言视图。
