Disabling a network port on a server
Even after you disable a port, it still appears in the list of available ports so that you can later enable it.
Procedure
- From the Domino® Administrator or Web Administrator, click the server on which you want to disable a port.
- Click the Configuration tab.
- Do one of these:
- From the Domino® Administrator's Tools pane, choose .
- From the Web Administrator's Port tool, choose Setup.
- Select the port you want to disable, and then deselect Port enabled.
- Click OK.
- Click the tab.
- Do one of these so that the change takes effect:
- From the Domino® Administrator's Tools pane, choose Restart Port. (If you can't see the Tools pane, make sure you are in the Server Tasks view.)
- From the Web Administrator's Ports tool, choose Restart.
- In the Server document, on the Disabled next to the name of the port you are disabling. tab, specify
- Save the Server document.
