    LotusScript® Extensions for Connectors (LC LSX) enhances the power of Notes® by extending its scripting to data outside of Notes through the use of Connectors. The programming model is independent of the individual connector. This eliminates the need to learn each individual system, while at the same time allowing experienced users to access the individual features of a specific system.

        Read-write. Maximum number of rows fetched to the result set, or 0 to fetch all rows subject to memory limits.

        Write-only. Relates an ODBCQuery object with a result set.

        Read-write. Indicates whether a result set is read-only. Can be set to True to prevent updates.

        Read-write. Indicates whether trailing spaces are trimmed from character values upon retrieval. Can be set to False to prevent trimming.

        Returns the last value set for the specified parameter.

        Retrieves a parameter name.
        Examples: GetParameterName method
        This example shows a form action (the Click sub) that sets the parameters for the SQL query in the Postopen sub. Although the query in the Postopen sub contains exactly two string parameters, the action works for a variable number of string parameters. The Click sub uses the GetParameterName method to prompt the user for a value for each parameter value.
      - GetRowStatus (ODBCResultSet - LotusScript)
        Returns the alteration status of the current row.
      - GetValue (ODBCResultSet - LotusScript)
        Retrieves the value of the column referenced by column_id%, and copies the results to the variable field.
      - HasRowChanged (ODBCResultSet - LotusScript)
        Indicates whether values in the current row have changed in the data source; that is, indicates whether values differ from what was fetched into the result set.
      - IsBeginOfData (ODBCResultSet - LotusScript)
        Indicates whether the cursor position is at the beginning of the result set.
      - IsEndOfData (ODBCResultSet - LotusScript)
        Indicates whether the cursor position is at the end of the result set.

        Indicates whether the execution of a query yielded any data.

        Indicates whether a column value was altered by SetValue.

GetParameterName (ODBCResultSet - LotusScript)

Retrieves a parameter name.

name$ = odbcResultSet . GetParameterName( parameter_index% )

parameter_index%

Return value

name$

String. The name of the parameter.

Usage

Parameter names contained in SQL statements are retrieved using parameter_index% as an index. Each name is returned without its surrounding question marks. You can use the parameter names to prompt a user.
