    LotusScript® Extensions for Connectors (LC LSX) enhances the power of Notes® by extending its scripting to data outside of Notes through the use of Connectors. The programming model is independent of the individual connector.         Indicates whether values in the current row have changed in the data source; that is, indicates whether values differ from what was fetched into the result set.

        This script executes when a field is entered and displays a message if the result set column with the same name is null. The form that contains the button contains other scripts that declare global variables, load the result set, and process the result set. The global declarations and a portion of the Postopen script are shown.
      - LastRow (ODBCResultSet - LotusScript)
        Sets the current row position to the last row in the result set.
      - LocateRow (ODBCResultSet - LotusScript)
        Identifies records that match a specified field value.
      - NextRow (ODBCResultSet - LotusScript)
        Sets the current row position to the next row in a result set.
      - NumColumns (ODBCResultSet - LotusScript)
        Number of columns in a result set.

IsValueNull (ODBCResultSet - LotusScript)

Indicates whether a column value is a null data value.

Syntax

flag% = odbcResultSet . IsValueNull( column_id% )

flag% = odbcResultSet . IsValueNull( column_Name$ )

Parameters

column_id%

Integer. The ID of a column. Use any numeric data type, except Currency.

column_Name$

String. The name of a column.

Return value

True indicates that the value of this cell in the current row is null.
False indicates that the value is not null.
