      You can install HCL DevOps Test UI (Test UI) in the same package group with the other supported Eclipse-based products. These products share a common environment, or they are shell shared. Shell shared products have a common installation directory, <Install_Directory>\HCL\DevOpsTest. Test UI installs as a perspective in the UI of the product with which it is shell-shared.

Post-installation checklist

After you have installed your product, complete several tasks to configure and verify the installation.

About this task

Review the following information and ensure the post-installation steps are completed as required.

Procedure

Verify your installation and ensure that you can start your product.
Open and view the important paths that are available in the registry entries:
1. Click Start > Run and type regedit to open the registry editor. Expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > HCL > DevOps Test UI, and view the file paths.
Optional: Open the application once with the -clean -configure option to remove any references of an older version if you were using the previous versions of Test UI.
For example, you can run the following command:

cmdline "C:\Program Files\IBM\DevOpsTest\eclipse.exe" -product com.ibm.rational.rft.product.ide -clean -configure
```
