Running multiple Test Integrations and APIs tests in IBM® Engineering Test Management

To run multiple Test Integrations and APIs tests in IBM® Engineering Test Management, you must first enable parameter passing with IBM® Engineering Test Management, and then configure the tests in Test Integrations and APIs with the appropriate input and output parameters.

About this task

To be able to run multiple tests in IBM® Engineering Test Management:

Procedure

  1. To enable parameter passing with IBM® Engineering Test Management, you must export two or more Test Integrations and APIs tests to IBM® Engineering Test Management, and then create a IBM® Engineering Test Management test suite.
  2. Configure all of the tests in Test Integrations and APIs with the appropriate input and output parameters. For example, for a parameter to be passed from Test A to Test B, Test B must have an input parameter with the same name as the output parameter from Test A.
  3. Export the tests to IBM® Engineering Test Management, create an IBM® Engineering Test Management test suite, and add all of the tests to the suite in order.
  4. Disable parallel processing of the tests, and enable Passing of execution variables between scripts. This can be done at run time in the IBM® Engineering Test Management user interface.
