Management of data definition
You can find information about creating, editing, and managing data definitions in HCL DevOps Test Hub (Test Hub), to support realistic and reusable test data generation.
You can create a data definition in Test Hub by using any of the
following methods:
- Creating an empty data definition. See Creating an empty data definition.
- Importing data from a CSV file. See Creating a data definition by importing fields from a CSV file.
- Creating a data definition from a dataset. See Creating a data definition by importing fields from a dataset
- Creating a data definition from a database query. See Creating a data definition by importing fields from a database query.
When you want to edit the data in a data definition, you must open it for editing. See Modifying a data definition.
After you edit the data fefinition, you must publish the changes, so that the data definition is added to the project repository. See Publishing changes in datasets.
