Artificial Intelligence integration
DevOps Plan includes AI integration to help you automate various tasks.
DevOps Plan is enabled with AI as part of the installation. In DevOps Plan, AI supports many tasks to automate functions, such as creating one or more records.
- OpenAI
- IBM WatsonX
- Microsoft Azure OpenAI
- Ollama
Tasks are instructions or inputs given to an AI system to guide its responses or actions. They serve as a way to communicate with the AI, telling it what you want it to do or what kind of information you need. Tasks help the AI understand the context and the specific task it needs to perform. They can range from simple questions to complex instructions, depending on what you want to achieve. For example, a task can ask the AI to summarize a text, generate a report, or even create a plan.
Tasks improve interaction, making the interaction with AI more intuitive and user-friendly, allowing users to get the AI’s responses to their specific needs, ensuring personalized and relevant outcomes. Tasks also streamline processes by automating tasks through well-defined instructions, enabling users to save time and focus on more critical activities.
Tasks are a fundamental aspect of interacting with AI, enabling users to direct the AI’s capabilities effectively and efficiently. They are crucial for achieving accurate, relevant, and personalized results in various applications.
- Summarize a piece of text.
- Generate Meeting Notes from a piece of text, such as a meeting transcription.
- Create Action Items that can be broken down by title and then used to create records.
- Extract Scrum notes from daily scrum calls.
- Acceptance of the AI legal terms.
- You have an active AI integration.
After enabling the AI integration and configuring the member access, you can use the AI integration to work with any of the tasks in DevOps Plan.
To start with AI integration, see AI configuration in DevOps Plan and Configuring Member Access.
Using the Exploratory tab
AI integration does not require any package configuration. The Exploratory package controls only the availability of the Exploratory tab and its related features in the record.
With the Exploratory package enabled, the Exploratory tab becomes available in supported records.
Use this tab to access AI-powered tasks, such as generating an exploratory test charter for a selected record.
An exploratory test charter defines the scope, objectives, and approach for a software testing session. It helps testers plan and guide exploratory testing activities.
For more information about exploratory test charters, see Exploratory Test Charter.
