Working with approvals
Users can use Approvals to view and manage approval requests that are either pending or completed using the Pending Requests and Completed Requests tabs.
The Approvals page provides an interface to handle approval requests. Users can navigate through the Pending Requests and Completed Requests tabs, each offering two sorting options: Requested by Me and Requests for Me.
The Requests for Me and Requested by Me options list the requests you have made, with the following actions available:

When you approve or reject a request, your comment will be added to the Conversation tab of the corresponding work item as an automated message. If there are multiple reviewers or approvers, the Approval Status displays Inspection until all reviewers or approvers approve the request. If even one reviewer or approver rejects the request, the status will display Rejected.
Filters are available to refine the list of requests:

A search bar is provided to search for requests based on the Work Item number or the email ID when the list is extensive.
You can view the record by clicking on the Work Item number. In the opened record also, you can respond to the approval requests. Other options available in the Quick Approval Change section are Restart, Cancel, and Flip Owner. Restart sets the approval back to Inspection, Cancel cancels the approval request, and Flip Owner lets you change the reviewer name.
You can sort the list by clicking on the table headers. Additionally, the following options are available:
- COLUMNS: Show or hide columns as needed.
- DENSITY: View the table list in Compact, Standard, or Comfortable views.
- EXPORT: Download the requests list as a CSV file using the Download as CSV option.
The Clear and Refresh buttons are available to reset filter options and reload the list, respectively. Clearing or refreshing the list sets the Owner and Reviewer fields to ALL.
