Checkpoints

Used with view profiles, checkpoints use labels to identify a stable source configuration of a project. Usually, a project leader creates checkpoints whenever work on the integration branch builds successfully.

In general, team members use checkpoints for the following:

• To see the project sources as they existed at various points along the project life cycle.
• To use as a starting point for private branches.
