To start a baselines comparison from Project Explorer

You can start a baselines comparison from DevOps Code ClearCase® UCM Project Explorer.

1. Start the DevOps Code ClearCase UCM Project Explorer.
   • On Linux and the UNIX system, in a command prompt, enter clearprojexp.
   • On Windows systems, in DevOps ClearCase Explorer, click UCM > Project Explorer.
2. In Project Explorer, navigate to and click a stream.
3. Click File > Properties.
4. In the Properties window, click Baselines. In Components are listed the components that have baselines in the stream.
5. In Components, click a component. In Baselines, the baselines for that component in the stream are listed.
6. In Baselines, do one of the following:
   • On Linux and the UNIX system, click a baseline and right-click.
   • On Windows systems, right-click a baseline.
7. Click one of the following commands:
   • Compare with Previous Baseline to display the unique members (if a composite baseline is involved), activities, and versions in the predecessor baseline of the selected baseline.
   • Compare with Another Baseline, and, in the Select another baseline window (on Linux and the UNIX system) or in Compare With Other (on Windows systems), click a second baseline. Then click OK. This displays the unique members (if a composite baseline is involved), activities, and versions for the two baselines.
8. You can return to the Properties window and start a new comparison while the current comparisons are displayed.
